Site
Name: Tantaga - Blue Swirl Edition

 Purpose: Artist design site and art portfolio.

The main goal of this design was to have a mix of
complexity in the overall design scheme, yet make the content display easy to navigate
and view.
The multi-box style allowed for multiple types of content to
be displayed simultaneously.
The design itself has many different style aspects, making
it appeal to different tastes.
|
The
2nd layout designed for Tantaga.com with a fluid elegant
swirl design contrasted by chaotic splats and grunge.
Features a compact style, but with many content boxes to
hold more information stylishly placed.
Main color theme is black, blue, white. A gradient
background creates a nice back drop and compliments the
heavy texturing of the swirls.

Template

The
main goal of this template design was to have a dark and
mystical mood that brought attention to the main central
character image and top navigation bar.
The main focus was on the
graphical portion because the coding itself could not be
altered due to the main site's rules and the fact that my userpage is not part of the site's essential main coding.
Thus, a customized userpage
template for my particular section, suited to my tastes.

A dark misty design that
brings focus to the main character playing with energy,
giving off a subtle quiet mood.
A different contrast of
colors are used to make the text readable off of the primary
white content boxes, surrounded by the theme of black and
purple mist.

The
main goal of this design was to have a unique effect on it's
visitors with it's simple, yet complex design and have an
easy to use interface while reflecting the artist's unique
style.
The
simple style allows for the art and other content to be
displayed easier.
Various content was in the
blank square content box, but I mistakenly deleted it when
uploading Tantaga V.2 ... so now you'll just see have a peek
at the outer layout itself ... well that's the part that
matter most isn't it :p .

The 1st layout designed for
Tantaga.com with a semi-grunge and tech design scheme in
mind.
Features a compact style for ease of navigation and
conventionalized layout for functionability, as well as a
pleasing effect to the eye.
Main color theme is black,
green, and white to maintain a consistency of the theme's
simplicity and to enhance the visual effect of the color
pairing.

A simple yet elegant
graphical design that gently leads the viewer through the
details of the bamboo hot spring background and allows the
focus to remain around the anime character bathing in the
waters.
A technical, yet
graceful approach is employed to show off the image in the
center with the girl bathing as well as smaller details,
while keeping to the white theme and subtle colors to
provide a much more welcoming visual appearance to visitors.
